Experience the Great Barrier Reef, the rainforest, remote tropical islands, plus Mission Beach.  There's something for every person when visiting the Cassowary Coast but first experience an adventure of a lifetime cruising this magnificent coast between Townsville, Mission Beach, & Cairns.

FRIDAY - ONE WAY - Magnetic Island, Orpheus Island, Hinchinbrook Channel & Mission Beach

SCHEDULE A:

7.00am |Townsville Breakwater Marina (Marina Office & Fuel Wharf) Priority Boarding and a light breakfast of bacon rolls, muffins and tropical fruits is served with Tea, Coffee or juice. 
7:30am | QuickCoast departs Townville Marina bound for Magnetic Island.
8:00am | MAGNETIC ISLAND Enjoy 1.5 hours at beautiful Nellie Bay. we suggest to take a stroll to Acadia Bay with many photo opportunities. 
9:30am | QuickCoast departs Magnetic Island for a spectacular coast and island adventures to Orpheus Island. First, we'll cruise by the coastline of Great Palm Island and the Bwgcolman peoples land, the traditional custodians of this wonderful area. A snack is served on route,
12.00pm | ORPHEUS ISLAND, YANKS JETTY. We'll arrive at Yanks Jetty for your island exploration
2.00pm | QuickCoast departs Orpheus Island for a continued spectacular coast and island cruise before we enter the Hinchinbrook Channel 
2.30pm | QuickCoast starts to make her approach to enter the HINCHINBROOK CHANNEL through the shallows (tide permitting)
3.00pm | QuickCoast passes by Lucinda and the next few hours the spectacular backdrop of "Jurassic" Hinchinbrook Island. 
4.15pm | Upon exit from the narrows of  Hinchinbrook Channel we'll then travel at speed to Clump Point, Mission Beach, overlooking at sunset the twenty island or more of the Family, Hinchinbrook or Brook Groups of islands. A light grazing supper of Prawn Cocktails and cheese boards. 
6.30pm | QuickCoast arrives MISSION BEACH. Complimentary arrival transfers to accommodation within 5km of Clump Point Marina Facility.

OVERNIGHT 3 NIGHTS AT ACCOMMODATION OF YOUR CHOICE:
(a) Mission Beach Resort - Superior Queen & Sofa Room including daily breakfast (or similar)
(b) Glamping on Dunk Island - Food included (self catering)

SATURDAY - Day of Leisure 
Day at leisure in Mission Beach, a leisurely beach walk is a must. Do nothing or perhaps rafting or skydive.

SUNDAY - Beaver Reef Snorkel
You'll visit to the birthplace of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. The Outer Great Barrier Reef is to ensure you enjoy and experience this amazing place in its natural state away from the crowds.  We would like everyone travelling onboard "QuickCoast"', to feel like you're heading to the reef with friends and family creating a fun filled and educational experience that will stay with you forever..... 8.00am | Local Mission Beach accommodation pick ups commence.
8.30am | Clump Point Marine Facility - Priority Boarding with light breakfast served of Muffins, Tropical Fruits and beverage of choice tea/coffee/juice.
9.00am | QuickCoast departs Clump Point Marina Facility
9.25am  | QuickCoast arrives Dunk Island for day visitors to disembark. 
9.40am | QuickCoast departs from Dunk Island bound for Beaver Cay & Reef.
10.35am | Arrival at Beaver Reef for snorkelling from QuickCoast or take a ride ashore to the cay in our ships tender.
12.30pm - 2.00pm |  2 course BBQ lunch is served on board
2.40pm | QuickCoast departs Beaver Reef with a quick fish feeding before departure.
3.35pm | We arrive Dunk Island for an hour for multiple choices short beach walks and/or optional afternoon cocktails from the cafe.
4,30pm |  QuickCoast departs Dunk Island 
4.50pm | QuickCoast arrives at Clump Point Marine Facility with transfers back to accommodations for guests.

MONDAY - Mission Beach to Cairns - One Way | Via Dunk Island & Fitzroy Island

SCHEDULE A:

Enjoy a day at Dunk Island then QuickCoast for a coast and island cruise to Fitzroy Island. First we'll cruise by the South Barnard Islands with Sisters and Stephens Islands. A further five or so nautical miles and well cruise by North Barnard islands including Kent, Jessie, Hutchinson, Bresnahan, and Lindquist Islands. Just as we complete our pass of these islands the infamous Franklin Islands come into view. The Franklin Islands are on our path to Fitzroy Island so we'll pass outside this sensitive area but with still great views of Russell, Mabel, Normanby and High Islands. At the same time the coastline here continues to be stunning taking in the indigenous land of Greater Yarrabah. The Gunggandji peoples are the traditional custodians of this wonderful coastline. 

7.00am | Clump Point Marine Facility - QuickCoast Priority Boarding commences. Tea/Coffee, Juice & Muffins.
7.30am | QuickCoast departs Clump Point Marine Facility
8.00am  | QuickCoast arrives Dunk Island - 2 hours ashore to enjoy yourself. Go on a hike, swim or snorkel.
10.00am | Depart Dunk Island bound for the Barnard Island Group
11.00am | Arrive the Barnard Island Group - 1.5 hours for a swim, walk and snorkel.
12.30pm | We depart Barnard Island Group and lunch is served on board whilst cruising to view the Frankland Islands
2.00pm | Start to cruise by the Frankland Island Group for some great energy and photograph opportunities.
3.00pm | Arrive FITZROY ISLAND for 2 hours to swim, walk, or snorkel
5.00pm | QuickCoast departs Fitzroy Island with remaining passengers
6.00pm | QuickCoast arrives Cairns Marlin Marina, disembark. Complimentary arrival transfers to accommodation within 3km of Cairns Marlin Marina

PHOTO ID
All passengers are required to carry government issued photo ID. Failure to do so and present ID when asked can lead to refused boarding and passage with no refund or compensation.

HAND LUGGAGE
Passengers on day return voyages are restricted to one (1) piece of hand luggage of maximum 5kg. Plus, 1 piece of overnight luggage is permitted per passenger up to 23kg - excess baggage will be an additional expense - refer to our terms and conditions. 

WHAT TO BRING
Sunglasses, towel, hat, sunscreen, swimwear and camera.
EPTPOS as no cash is accepted onboard or for optional activities, bar or other incidentals.

MEDICAL CONDITION
If you have a medical condition and are unsure of you physical ability to participate in an activity, we recommend that you consult with a medical practitioner prior to booking.

WEATHER WARNING 

During October to April the tropical heat can be severe. If walking on tracks on the various islands, make sure you carry plenty of water, walk with a friend, have sun protection and don't walk in the middle of the day. In case of a strong wind warning we may have to adopt our Schedule B as listed in our terms and conditions. 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Refer to our cancellation conditions prior to booking. We strongly recommend purchasing your own travel insurance to cover any possible unforeseen circumstances. Where we need to revert to Schedule B due to bad weather or technical reasons passengers will be given an option of a full credit and travel with us another time when Schedule A. In some cases we will need to cancel outright and in this case passengers will be granted a full refund or rebook for another date with a $100 onboard credit for when they do travel with us.
